God designed families to be a place of safety, nurture and belonging so children can reach their fullest potential. Every day, children suffer because their families are in crisis and our community’s resources are overwhelmed.
At our best, Christians have been known to step out in faith, often at great sacrifice, to care for the vulnerable and hurting. Imagine how our community could be transformed for generations, if every Christ follower did something!
Since 2004, Families of Promise has been a ministry of Kentwood Community Church dedicated to raising up and equipping believers to live out the biblical mandate to care for orphans and vulnerable children and bring them the hope of Jesus Christ. Contact us for more information.
