Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27 (NIV)

What if?
In the U.S., 137 Million people claim to be Christians. If only 1% of U.S. Christians made a choice to adopt one child, there would be no more children waiting to be adopted in the U.S. foster care system, and a million orphaned children from other countries would join an American family!

MISSION STATEMENT

Children deserve a loving family and the opportunity to claim their rightful place within God's kingdom. In the Bible, God has made clear the responsibility of His people to take care of His precious children. Never before has there been a greater world-wide need for Christians to adopt and to provide foster care. Families of Promise is dedicated to following Christ's command to love everyone by raising up Christians to open their hearts and homes to God's children.
